Sandy Blaine is an author and expert wellness consultant whose work draws on the power of positive psychology – the science of happiness and a meaningful life – in conjunction with wellness and mind/body integration to help people realize their highest potential and create greater well-being, fulfillment and happiness. She's been working with Pixar’s in house wellness program since 1994 - long before wellness was on most of the corporate radar.
In this episode we unpack our shared experience of other's telling us we have "discipline", whereas we both feel we have aligned motivation. You'll learn about the difference between the two, the science underlying human motivation, and how to tap into your own intrinsic motivation, values, meaning, and purpose to shift your behavior in ways that feel good and build well-being.
Back to Business
Last week I was traveling for some much anticipated “work” of service. I’ll be posting more about that later this week, but for now: I’m dusting off the archives of BTF to bring you the exceptional Sandy Blaine. This episode was originally recorded in November of 2021, but many of it’s themes of authentic action and mindfulness resonate even more deeply now.
Have a listen.
